We open our soul
Meet us
This has been the journey. Hello, I'm María!
NURSING
From care of the elderly units to leading Intensive Care teams at King's College Hospital in London. Almost 10 years committed to caring for others, years of learning, overcoming challenges, and personal growth.
PANDEMIC
Many months of exhausting effort caring for critically ill patients in the ICU, confronting emotional and physical, professional and personal challenges. It shook the foundations of my profession, my vocation. It was hard to accept, they call it "burnout."
CHANGE
I returned to my homeland in Spain, where I took some professional rest and immersed myself in a personal project renovating my old family home.
I wanted to create a space of well-being.
PERSONAL PROJECT
The satisfaction I found in carrying out this design and production task, and the exquisite result, became the drive that led me to shift my professional career.
Why not help others to create spaces where they can also achieve peace and well-being?
PURPOSE
My batteries were recharged, and I brought back the creativity, initiative, diligence, and motivation within me and that I had lost.
I discovered my passion for design and for creating by bringing furniture ideas to life for my old family home.
I reconnected with craftsmanship, having grown up watching my grandfather Paco craft unique pieces with his hands.
This time, however, it was alongside my uncle Cristobal that we brought the designs to life.
And I created,
mnar atelier is a family craft workshop born from the desire to offer others a sense of well-being and nature in their spaces.
We specialize in the design and artisanal production of bed headboards
made from natural materials.
Our atelier carries the artisanal tradition in the expert hands of my uncle, who brings our unique pieces to life.
Each piece we create carries a part of our soul, love for craftsmanship,
and respect for nature.
